Comme beaucoup de gens qui vivent au Canada, je m'identifie comme Canadien. Mon ancêtre qui est venu au Canada le plus récent est mon grand-grand-pere, qui est arrivé au Canada il y a trois générations. Des parties de ma famille vivent au Canada depuis plus de 7 générations.
Mon grand-grand-oncle a travaillé chez Rowntree Canada, qui a commencé en Angleterre, et est venu au Canada, comme beaucoup de mes ancêtres. C'est pourquoi j'ai apporté des Smarties. Je n'avais pas de grandes boîtes, alors j'ai collé plusieurs petites boîtes ensemble. Rowntree a inventé les Smarties en 1882, appelés à l'origine "fèves de chocolat ". Et sais-tu qu’ils n'ont pas vraiment de Smarties aux États-Unis? Même s'ils sont si populaires ici, et qu'ils étaient si proches. Les Américains appellent les "Rockets" "Smarties" là-bas.
J’aime le Canada et je suis fier d'être canadien. Et j’aime beaucoup les Smarties.
